ABOUT MARY L. FORTE
After being a leader in the retail world for more than 30 years, I know what makes teams and companies shine. It takes more than industry knowledge to be successful. Mentors and coaches play a huge role in leadership development. As an executive coach, I’m driven to help people achieve new levels of success through camaraderie, collaboration and communication, polishing people’s skills so they are ready for the next step. My goal is to use my strengths in strategic planning, team building, communication and operations along with mentoring experience to make a positive impact. That’s one of the reasons I became a Vistage Chair. I believe in the “One vision, one voice” theory. In my Vistage peer advisory group, CEOs, business owners and executives have one vision: to help each other grow their businesses. Working together, they process issues, solve problems, and provide guidance for making hard decisions. Throughout my career, I traveled the world and yet I still love to explore new destinations. Outside of work I support the arts and enjoy spin classes and walking my dogs. I am actively seeking new members for my Vistage group in Philadelphia. Ideal candidates are people with a growth mindset who have high integrity and are lifelong learners.
