At Sonova Group, my focus as Senior Director of Corporate Development and M&A is on fueling strategic growth and active portfolio management. My tenure has been marked by strong collaboration with executives & business leaders on CEO- and CFO-led projects.Previously, as Head of Corporate Business Development at HOERBIGER, I led the transformation of the Group by building up two new divisions (Rotary and Safety) into significant, sustainable revenue contributors and fast-pacing our hydrogen initiatives. Activities included the execution of the largest acquisition in HOERBIGER’s 100+ year history, successful cost restructuring projects and revamping capex / budget / strategic planning & approval processes.17+ years of expertise in finance, controlling, strategy, corporate development and M&A, combined with a profound understanding of diverse B2B and B2C markets (healthcare, medical device & equipment, machinery, healthcare, automotive, O&G/power generation/renewables, semiconductor), continues to drive transformative outcomes with a focus on sustainable results and building up high-performance teams.Graduated from University of St. Gallen and gained academic experience at Babson College and significant exposure to various end-markets in the field of corporate finance/M&A during my work as investment banker at Morgan Stanley.Now part of publicly-listed Sonova. 3+ Bio EUR medical equipment company focused on four businesses (hearing instruments, consumer hearing, audiological care, cochlear implants) with over employees serving more than 100 countries.
