ABOUT WILLIAM SHEFFIELD
As a recent graduate from Penn State University with a Psychology degree with a subset in business, I am passionate about understanding what drives people and organizations. My goal is to pursue a career in marketing by utilizing my skills gained from my degree and past internship experiences. One of my most valuable experiences was working as an HR Intern at Kinsley Enterprises, a leading provider of broadband and property management services. During my internship, I honed my recruiting skills by reviewing over 250 resumes, conducting phone interviews, and creating job descriptions. I also contributed to compliance efforts by auditing and correcting I-9 forms for 90+ employees. Through my education and work experience, I have developed core competencies in communication, interpersonal skills, and BambooHR, a cloud-based HR software. I am eager to learn more and expand my skill set in the Marketing field. I am also an Eagle Scout and a former Field Director at In The Net Sports Academy, where I coordinated field operations for over 10 baseball and softball games. These experiences have taught me the importance of leadership, teamwork, and customer service.
