The Land Investment and Planning team is the area within the National Property Services responsible for the acquisition of land to respond to school-aged population growth across New Zealand. The Delivery Manager role requires a good understanding of the PWA processes, RMA regulation and Te Tiriti o Waitangi to successfully manage the Crown land acquisition project from the site identification & evaluation process up to the designation of each new school / Kura site within the Auckland and Tai Tokerau region.The role also demands the procurement and management of consultants for the due diligence, design, strategic and detailed business case development, negotiation of agreement terms, acquisition/lease, and the Notice of Requirement (NoR) process for the designation for educational purposes. An extensive and proactive consultation with MoE internal departments, council, local government & agencies, Iwi / Rōpū groups and any other relevant stakeholders is required throughout the whole project lifecycle.
