About Peter Noone
Pete Noone is the Managing Director of SCB’s San Francisco office where he is responsible for the office’s overall operations and management. He sits on the firm’s Finance, Operations, and Building Technology committees, providing leadership and direction to firm-wide operational processes. Pete also serves as the Managing Principal on all of the firm’s west coast projects. His responsibilities include team organization and assembly; contract review and fee negotiations; and overall project delivery strategy and execution. His counsel and organizational talents are instrumental at the beginning of projects, and his experience and expertise in construction administration are key components of SCB’s reputation as a firm that builds what it designs. In his more than 30 years at SCB, both in the Chicago and San Francisco offices, Pete has supervised teams for numerous large-scale multi-family residential, mixed-use, and institutional projects nationwide. While in the Chicago office, Pete led teams on the award-winning restoration of the Nichols Tower as part of the historic Sears Catalog Facility in Chicago’s Homan Square; One Rincon Hill in San Francisco; The Legacy at Millennium Park in Chicago; and the Guglielmino Athletics Complex at the University of Notre Dame. Since relocating to California, Pete’s projects include 399 Fremont and Solaire residential apartment towers in San Francisco; First Hill/ Trinity Church condominium project in Seattle; Zidell Yards mixed-use development in Portland; and Park Lane and Anaha condominium projects in Honolulu. Pete received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame and holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Pete leads the firm’s University outreach and recruiting efforts and serves on the national Documents Committee of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
