With more than 25 years of experience, I have developed deep expertise as a practice area leader focused on higher education. My career spans a broad spectrum of project types and delivery methods, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the practice and its complexities.As an architect of record and senior project manager, I’ve delivered over 2 million square feet of award-winning architecture and interiors. I’ve also managed a studio practice, with responsibility for financials, staffing, contracts, and business development.My sustaining passion is cultivating strong relationships—both with my teams and clients. I achieve this by actively listening, empowering people, and delivering projects with integrity and excellence.With a commitment to “getting out there”, I co-chair San Francisco’s AIA Committee on Architecture for Education, where I aim to raise public awareness of how thoughtful design can enhance both institutional effectiveness and student outcomes. I’ve also organized symposia, contributed as a speaker on various panels, participated in industry conferences, and authored technical papers.
