My name is Merrin Tommie, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Marketing with a minor in professional sales at Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business.As a student leader, I serve as secretary for Cardinal Key, a national junior honor society that recognizes leadership and service, and as Vice President of Philanthropy for Alpha Gamma Delta, a women’s fraternity that promotes academic excellence and philanthropy. This past summer, I served as the retail sales operations and marketing intern for Buru in New York City. I have enhanced my organizational, communication, and time management skills through diverse roles both on and off campus, consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.My passion for fostering meaningful relationships, cultivating creativity, and adding value to every endeavor led to my desire to obtain a degree in Marketing. I have gained valuable knowledge and experience through my coursework and extracurricular activities. I’m proficient in social media, Microsoft Excel certified, and I’m eager to learn about emerging marketing trends and strategies.
