ABOUT PAYDEN MCCLENDON

I’m a senior at California State University, Chico, majoring in Business Marketing with a minor in International Marketing, graduating Spring 2026. Through the Seufferlein Sales Program and my hands-on experience in sales and marketing roles, I’ve developed a strong interest in relationship-building, strategy, and performance-driven growth. I plan to pursue an MBA to continue strengthening my leadership and business skills.Professionally, I’ve gained experience across sales and operations. As a Server at The Original Mels Diner, I learned how to build rapport quickly, upsell confidently, and thrive in fast-paced environments. As a CEO Assistant at Citizens General Insurance, I supported daily operations by organizing client documents, updating policies, and communicating with clients in a professional setting.On campus, I’ve enjoyed being involved in creative marketing efforts. I helped coordinate merchandise and supported social media for Alpha Gamma Delta, and collaborated on a student social media project with Her Campus to create engaging digital content. Outside of campus, I also created video marketing content for a real estate agent at Coldwell Banker Real Estate, helping showcase listings through dynamic media.I’m working toward a career in sales, where I can combine consultative selling, communication, and strategic thinking. I’m always open to connecting with professionals in sales, marketing, and business development.
