   Responsible for Teach Plus\' Pennsylvania portfolio of programs, which empower excellent, experienced, and diverse teachers to take leadership over key policy and practice issues that advance equity, opportunity, and student success- Pennsylvania Policy Fellowship- Pennsylvania Equity Leadership Institute- Teacher-Led Professional Learning- Philadelphia Affinity Group Network- Pennsylvania Teacher NetworkLead a team of seven Teach Plus Pennsylvania program staff to ensure program quality and impact.Grew Teach Plus PA portfolio from one program to five programs statewide with sustainable and diversified funding, tripling regional budget and growing teacher leader participation to over 700 across all programs.Empowered teacher leaders and collaborated with partners to achieve education policy wins at the state level- Increase of over $1 billion in school funding in 2022-23 budget, including $225 million to the most underfunded districts through Level Up- Updates to Pennsylvania teacher certification regulations to require future teachers be trained in the science of reading and culturally relevant practice- Changes to the Pennsylvania School Code to create youth pathways into teaching and diversify the educator workforce.Represent Teach Plus in educational coalitions and on policymaking bodies- PA Needs Teachers (teacher shortages)- coalition co-founder and organizer- PA Schools Work (school funding)- governing body member and government relations committee chair- Pennsylvania Educator Diversity Consortium - acting circle of leaders and policy & advocacy committee chair- Pennsylvania Department of Education Committee on Education Talent Recruitment - appointed by Secretary of Education Hagarty and serve on K-12 CTE Pathway subcommittee- Philadelphia Citywide Teacher Strategy Advisory Group, Read by Fourth, Pennsylvania Higher Education Task Force, Pennsylvania Department of Education Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging Task Force - member.
