ABOUT KATHERINE KELL
I am a sophomore at the University of Michigan applying to the School of Information this fall. I am working towards a degree in UX/UI Design and pursuing a minor in Digital Studies. With a passion for all things technology and communications, I am eager to learn all about the essential skills taught in the School of Information, such as math, coding, design, and critical thinking, and apply them to the real world. My thirst for knowledge extends beyond the classroom. I actively seek opportunities to learn from diverse communities, such as my internship at Shift Digital. This experience has allowed me to engage with brilliant minds and gain insights into the automotive and hospitality industries. I’m excited about the future of technology; it’s an unprecedented time for many companies with the addition of AI into our society, but that doesn’t deter me. Instead, I choose to embrace AI by learning everything I can about it so that I can harness its true potential for the greater good. I’ve been working since I was 15, and I’m eager to continue building my resume and gaining wisdom and experience.
