As a Founder and Chief UAS Mapping Specialist, I oversee all technical flight operations, geospatial data collection, modeling, and client deliverables for commercial and industrial use.Core Responsibilities & Technical Capabilities:UAS Mapping & Surveying: Conduct aerial surveys using RTK-enabled drones to generate 2D orthomosaics, 3D topographic models, digital surface models (DSM), and digital terrain models (DTM).Volumetric Analysis: Perform accurate stockpile measurements, earthworks analysis, and cut-and-fill calculations for construction sites and quarries.Ground Control Integration: Implement ground control points (GCPs) and PPK/RTK workflows to ensure centimeter-level precision in mapping outputs.GIS & Photogrammetry Expertise: Utilize tools such as Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, QGIS, and WebODM for data processing, spatial analysis, and model generation.Inspection & Documentation: Capture high-resolution imagery and video for asset inspections (e.g, roofing, infrastructure), reducing risk and increasing efficiency.Flight Planning & Compliance: Design and execute automated missions with full FAA Part 107 compliance including airspace authorization, safety protocols, and pre-flight assessments.Post-Processing & Deliverables: Produce deliverables including CAD overlays, contour maps, 3D point clouds, and georeferenced TIFFs for engineering and planning use.Client Solutions & Reporting: Translate raw aerial data into actionable insights and client-friendly reports, tailored to meet technical specs of surveyors, developers, and contractors.Multi-Industry Support: In addition to geospatial services, provide aerial videography, marketing footage, and creative content for real estate and business clients.
