About me: As a chief of staff in the California Legislature I was responsible for managing operations for both Sacramento and district offices. During my legislative career I testified in many public and private meetings both for and against numerous significant pieces of proposed legislation. Prior to being a chief of staff, I was a legislative director, and before that, a legislative advocate for the small business community. Business and political articles I have written have appeared in publications such as the Sacramento Bee newspaper and California Political Review magazine. I was appointed by then Governor Jerry Brown as the Deputy Director of Policy and Planning for the California State Council on Developmental Disabilities. Prior to that appointment, I was a consultant to the Senate Select Committee on Autism & Related Disorders in the California State Senate. As a broadcaster, I am the most entertaining radio talk show host that most people have never heard of. I have hosted my own afternoon drive and weekend live call-in programs and have also been a guest host for many other shows. Based in the Sacramento area, my unique combination of quirky humor and original commentary on politics, current events and pop culture has been heard on radio stations throughout the United States. I am often available on short notice to cover for shows when the regular host is ill, or on vacation.
