Accomplished Commercial Real Estate Underwriter and Portfolio Manager with 25+ years of career expertise in loan structuring, asset management, and credit analysis of commercial real estate loans for financial institutions. I have extensive experience underwriting and managing a multitude of asset classes, including multi-family, office, retail, industrial, and parking garages. I have experience structuring and underwriting a diverse portfolio of permanent, transitional, and construction loans, as well as lines of credit to real estate investors. I have been recognized for working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to structure and underwrite new business while protecting the bank\'s interest. One of my notable achievements was formulating an underwriting exit analysis guide which was adopted bank-wide for use in the credit analysis and credit approval memorandum. I have extensive experience managing a portfolio of both performing and criticized commercial real estate loans, with comprehensive knowledge of credit risk rating, real estate cash flow, financial statement, and collateral analysis. I performed quarterly risk rating assessments and quarterly management reports with current and projected loan metrics, risks and mitigants, and strengths and weaknesses. One of my notable achievements was developing a new process for the annual review of criticized loans, reducing the completion time by 40%.
