Prepare lunch and dinner 5 days a week, creating separate meals to accommodate the special dietaryneeds of each principal in an HNW household.TYPICAL PRIVATE CHEF RESPONSIBILITIES- Purchase fresh and farm-to-table ingredients from organic stores and farmer’s markets- Consult with the principals regarding menus; plan and prepare Asian, Italian, Mexican,American, and additional ethnic dishes- Develop fine dining menus and prepare food for small gatherings nearly every weekend- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to manage fully plated formal events- Plan and prepare dinners for special celebrations that include VIP and high-profile guests- Manage the wine and liquor inventory; purchase wines from numerous vendors in the US andEurope. Select wine pairings for formal dinners- Pack food for principals’ trips away from home. Contact restaurants ahead of principals’ visits todiscuss their needs and preferences with the kitchen staff.
