I am a Communication and Marketing professional with 28 years\' experience within Defence and defence industry.For the past four years I\'ve been Amentum Australia\'s Communication and Marketing Senior Manager, a fantastic role with huge variety. In 2023 I was proud to be named a finalist in the Communication and Marketing Category of the Defence Connect Australian Defence Industry Awards.Before my current role I spent four years as a consultant with Amentum providing media, strategic communication, ministerial writing/editing and stakeholder engagement services to a range of Defence clients.Following service in the Australian Army from the late-1990s to including as a Military Reporter with Army News, I spent more than a decade as a Managing Editor with the Defence News Bureau (Army, Navy and Air Force newspapers and Defence magazine), leading a combined military and civilian editorial and reporting team.I am also a Commonwealth-Registered Marriage Celebrant authorised to solemnise weddings across Australia.
