SKILLS
ABOUT KIMBERLY YOUNG
Enterprise transformation can only be successful if it strengthens governance, manages risk, and creates long-term value. As a global senior executive, I have spent my career designing and governing large-scale benefits and rewards programs for complex, multinational organizations operating in highly regulated, unionized, and global environments. Whether working through rapid, acquisition-driven growth, private equity ownership, IPO readiness, or post-merger integration, I help organizations balance cost discipline, compliance, and employee experience at scale. I am known as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, a builder of high-performing teams, and a leader who translates benefits strategy into measurable financial, operational, and risk outcomes. I partner closely with finance, legal, labor, and external advisors to ensure workforce programs support organizational resilience, growth, and long-term sustainability. Some achievements of which I am incredibly proud:Guided Amentum through one of its most complex mergers, leading enterprisewide benefits transformation. I redesigned fragmented legacy programs into scalable, governed global platform that supports workforce growth from initial employees to more than across 80 countries. Established governance for equity-based programs, launched employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and led harmonization of more than $4B in pension obligations to support public-company requirements and fiduciary oversight for Amentum’s IPO readiness. Steered healthcare strategy redesign, vendor optimization, and innovative care models at Booz Allen Hamilton, offsetting approximately $130 million projected healthcare spend and reducing medical claims by 35%. I delivered additional cost savings through targeted outsourcing and operational improvements. In addition to my executive role, I am active in industry leadership and the nonprofit board service, with a growing interest in board and advisory opportunities focused on governance, workforce strategy, and organizational sustainability.
