About Yueqi Li
I have extensive experience leading teams and contributing individually in machine learning infrastructure, AI research, GPU computing, and distributed systems. At Google X, I led the development of a large-scale machine learning infrastructure capable of processing tens of petabytes of data to create advanced vision models for agriculture. I also directed a research team in developing a multi-modal QA system that combines vision and language to provide critical information for agricultural users, resulting in 20+ US patents and 2 research papers. In the early stages of my career at X, I developed our first-generation agriculture robots for data collection. Additionally, I have a strong background in distributed systems, including the creation of an on-demand GPU platform for the startup GMI and work on distributed systems during my early tenure at Google. Prior to my industry experience, I conducted research in program analysis and testing during my PhD program.
