What Am I Looking For? I am seeking a dynamic role or project where I can leverage over three decades of executive and board-level experience across the public, commercial, and not-for-profit sectors. My expertise spans hospitality, tourism, accommodation, education, governance, and asset management. I am passionate about building high-performing teams, nurturing individual growth, and driving strategic initiatives that create long-term value. In today’s uncertain world, my strongest skill is my ability to bring people together, fostering collaboration and unity to navigate challenges and achieve shared goals. This strength, combined with my leadership experience, makes my skillset highly transferable to sectors like aged care, where effective team leadership, operational excellence, and a focus on community are paramount. At the board level, I bring a wealth of experience as a Non-Executive Director, Audit and Risk Chair, and strategic advisor. Highlights include my current role as an External Advisor to PPCE - Parks Victoria and previous roles with Destination Phillip Island, the Canberra Convention Bureau, and the Australian Tourism Export Council, where I provided strategic development advice, asset repositioning insights, and onboarding support to capitalize on growth opportunities. In my executive career, I have successfully led organizations such as Hotel-Hotel as CEO, expanded portfolios as Group Executive General Manager with the Batman Group, and founded Hospitality Business Solutions Consulting, a boutique firm specializing in the visitor economy. My leadership has driven business growth, repositioned assets, and fostered talent development across diverse teams. Academically, I hold a Master of Business Administration and have completed the AICD’s Company Directors Course. I have also contributed to higher education as a lecturer and content developer in management subjects, sharing my knowledge with the next generation of leaders. I am eager to engage with opportunities that align with my passion for governance, education, and the visitor economy, as well as sectors like aged care where I can bring my transferable skills to create meaningful impact. Whether it’s driving strategic growth, developing talent, or enhancing operational excellence, I am committed to making a difference.
