A Problem Solver\" Claims | Wordings | Client Excellence | LeadershipClaims and Technical Accounts Director with a solid career in the global reinsurance market, combining a strong legal background with hands-on leadership of complex, high-impact claims.I began my career in reinsurance at Munich Re as a Casualty/Motor Underwriter and transitioned to the Claims Department in 2011, driven by my passion for case studies and supported by my legal background.In 2012, I joined Mattos Filho as an associate lawyer, where I was responsible for reviewing insurance and reinsurance policies and wordings, as well as handling broader market-related matters, including the regulatory framework with SUSEP.In 2013, I assumed responsibility for Latin America claims at Gen Re, overseeing claims across the region, including Mexico and the Caribbean. In 2024, my scope expanded to include Iberia, further enriching my international claims experience. Experiencing different cultures and markets and building such a rich and diverse claims background over the years is a trajectory I am truly proud of. Since March 2025, I have been with IRB(Re) as Claims and Technical Accounts Director, leading a highly skilled and inspiring team. Together, we place claims client service excellence at the core of everything we do, recognizing claims as a critical moment of truth in the client relationship. Our focus is on delivering timely, transparent, and technically robust claims solutions, combining strong governance, consistency, and efficiency with a client-centric mindset that builds trust and long-term partnerships.In October 2025, my responsibilities expanded further with the assumption of leadership over the Clauses and Wordings Department, reinforcing the strategic integration between claims, contract wording, and technical underwriting support, and further enhancing the quality of service delivered to clients.I am a Lawyer, with a postgraduate degree in Business Administration. Languages are one of my passions: I am a native Portuguese speaker and fluent in German, French, English, and Spanish.I am married to Kei and the mother of two incredible children, who teach me daily lessons about love through their smiles and inspire me to become a better person every day. I am also passionate about sports, arts, and gastronomy.
