Supervises / install hardware and software in line with GIT directions. • Maintains stable daily operation of IT infrastructure. • Microsoft MCSE, MCITP Systems Administrator (Active Directory).• Ensures a virus free environment. • Ensures data and system security in line with GIT directions.• Defines local policies and procedures in line with GIT directions. • Ensures compliance with standards set in group/region policies (software licenses, anti-virus program availability, correct configurations, IT equipment list…) • Prepares proper IT documentation.• Provides remote support to TREK Sourcing offices and sites outside India (APAC) as required User Support.• Supervises local external contractor to provide technical support and advice to users. • Defines IT requirements based on Business demands. • Organizes regular user training on various applications and software packages IT Planning. • Evaluates and purchases new hardware for enhancing the system performance & efficiency. • Assists Management to prepare IT budget. • Ensures all hardware is covered by proper maintenance agreements. • Coordinates and / or executes IT activities under IT Manager’s directions Application Services. • Ensure reasonable network performance at LO and remote offices.• Perform support on Trekbikes business applications Key relationships: • LO end-users, managers, application key users and department heads • LO IT team members located in other locations
