ABOUT TY VONHOETZENDORFF

Ty von Hoetzendorff is a 36 year insurance claims veteran. He was recently the Vice President of Claims for the Construction Service Group at Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. Los Angeles. Ty provides focused claim advocacy for his clientele in the areas of General Liability, Auto, Construction Defect, Professional Liability, Employment Practices, Pollution, Inland Marine, Contractor’s Equipment, Property & Builder’s Risk claims. Ty’s technical expertise includes vendor oversight management, large loss resolution strategies, litigation management, claim reviews, claim audits and coverage analysis. These skills have demonstrated a substantial reduction in overall claim costs for many high-profile clients.Ty offers his technical skills to ensure integrity and success of the client’s general liability, property and auto insurance programs. Coverage analysis, additional insured issues, reserve analysis, case law interpretation and claims administration are a few of the key issues which Ty addresses in order to support the efficiency of the client’s insurance program.Some of the OCIPs that Ty has supported include, but are not limited to, the Los Angeles Unified School District, City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles World Airports, Port of Oakland, Los Angeles Community College District and the University of California to name a few.Mr. von Hoetzendorff is proficient in construction related general liability claims and construction defect litigation. His technical advocacy skills combined with his adept oversight of complex construction litigation issues provide powerful tools that greatly benefit his clients. He also brings a wealth of coverage expertise to the table in construction related legal matters.Ty attended California State University at Northridge and obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration (1986). Ty received his ARM in June of 2005 and his CRIS designation in July of 2006.
