Working with the BreastScreen Aotearoa team to extend the cancer screening programme and support equitable access to it across the motu. Breast cancer has affected my whanau and friends from age 45 to 75 and it is the leading cause of cancer death for New Zealand women under 65 and the top overall cancer killer for women. The earlier it is detected, the more chance we have to provide timely care and support the wellbeing journey of our loved ones. Mauri ora!
