About Thomas Lambert
I’ve always been drawn to challenges that require both strategy and grit. From leading soldiers in the U.S. Army to rebuilding untapped sales territories into multimillion-dollar growth engines, I’ve built my career around solving complex problems and turning them into opportunities.Today, as an Enterprise Business Development, Client Partner at dormakaba, I work directly with the leadership of major airlines and airport authorities across North America. My focus is on building trust at the executive level, shaping tailored access control and security solutions, and ensuring they deliver measurable impact. It’s a role where partnership matters as much as performance — and where I get to influence how some of the busiest airports in the world operate more securely and efficiently. My path here has been anything but linear. At Wesco Anixter, I built sales strategies that boosted growth by 130% and opened new enterprise accounts. At Alvarado-dormakaba, I turned a cold, underperforming region into a multimillion-dollar performer in less than two years. And before that, the Army gave me the foundation: resilience, adaptability, and the ability to lead teams and manage resources in high-stakes environments.I’m also pursuing a Master’s in Enterprise Risk Management at Columbia University, which gives me a broader lens for understanding risk, resilience, and long-term value creation. For me, business development isn’t just about closing deals — it’s about building ecosystems of trust, aligning technology with strategy, and helping clients navigate complexity with confidence.

Enterprise Business Development, Client Partner - Aviation Solutions
Jul 2025 — Present · US
In this role, I serve as a strategic partner to major airlines and airport authorities across North America, helping them modernize access control and security at scale. Each month, I’m responsible for driving complex, enterprise business development strategies by direct client engagement and a consultative approach that removes reliance on integrator channels. My focus is on aligning advanced airport security technologies with complex compliance and operational demands — and ensuring solutions don’t just install, but actually solve problems. Working closely with product, engineering, and executive teams, I translate client needs into results that strengthen long-term partnerships and fuel sustainable growth.
