ABOUT TED BLUM

I lead Greenberg Traurig’s Atlanta office as Managing Shareholder and Chair of the Atlanta Corporate Practice, where I guide private equity firms, board directors, executives, and entrepreneurs through mergers, acquisitions, corporate finance, and venture capital transactions. My focus is on relationships, clarity, and execution—helping clients move forward with confidence when the stakes are highest.Beyond my legal practice, I’m deeply committed to civic and philanthropic leadership. I currently chair the Atlanta Jewish Foundation and serve on the boards of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta and the American Jewish Committee. I’ve also helped lead efforts with the Chick-fil-A Foundation, the Woodruff Arts Center, Junior Achievement, and the Rotary Club of Atlanta’s human trafficking task force. At my core, I’m a connector and bridge-builder—bringing together people, ideas, and opportunities to drive results and transform outcomes for both businesses and communities. That same passion for resilience and legacy also inspired me to write Calculated Risks, which chronicles my family’s escape from persecution and the remarkable individuals who shaped their journey. Whether in my legal work, civic leadership, or writing, I am guided by authenticity, humility, and a commitment to excellence, with the belief that lasting impact comes from mobilizing people and ideas to create something greater than the sum of its parts.
