In this role, I have the pleasure of leading a group of 8 talented yard controllers who control the flow of traffic in and out of our Calgary SFC. I liaise with several teams to ensure that our yard control team has the information and tools needed to do their job. This includes managing relationships with both internal and 3rd party partners, delivering and leading change, & delivering results through careful management of labor and resources. I\'m fiscally accountable for developing, & adhering to a strict labor plan/budget which includes providing monthly reporting on KPIs to our finance team. Through situational based leadership, driving continuous improvement initiatives and by putting our \"people\" first, I\'m proud to say that we have a very successful yard operation at the Calgary SFC.
