ABOUT SIMON JACOBSEN

On March 1, 2023, I began a new chapter in my career in the financial industry, working with digital fraud prevention at Jyske Bank. I help protect customers in an increasingly complex digital landscape shaped by new technologies and AI, where constant awareness of cybercrime threats is essential.I have worked almost 10 years in the online casino industry from 2013 to 2023, where I have held roles within the support, operations, marketing, AML and Compliance domains. It was and sure still is an exciting, fast growing, and competitive industry in constant development, with focus on product development, regulations and legislative changes, technical solutions, marketing strategies etc. which translates into work days with great variety and plenty of development opportunities.My educational background includes a master’s degree in media science from Aarhus University, clerical qualification from the VELUX Group and a bachelor in business administration from the Aarhus School of Business and Aalborg University.I have practical experience from multiple different industries, which has given me particularly strong skills in the following areas- CRM (Data mining, KYC, etc.)- Compliance (AML, KYC, GDPR, risk manager)- Research (qualitative and quantitative)- Data processing and security (transcription, data, statistics, GDPR, etc.)- BDM (business development and analysis)- Project management (planning, coordination, etc.)- Communication (technical, web, strategic, political, graphic, brand, etc.)- Analysis- Marketing (viral, PR, competitions, news material, etc.)- Administration- Support (IT, customer, etc.) Outside of work, I live with Anja, who owns Mailundklinikken.dk, and is Cand. psych. Auth. and Specialist in Clinical Child Psychology, and our 3 children - Caroline Emilie (17), Daniel (16) and Nicolai (9).
