Experienced Senior Facilities Manager | Engineering Excellence in Hospitality & Luxury Living. With a proven track record across diverse environments, I have successfully managed facilities ranging from budget hotels to super-luxury hotels, apartments (including Grade listed II* buildings), luxury healthcare centres, and London’s most prestigious music venue and member club. Current Role: Assistant Chief Engineer in a 5-star flagship luxury resort. I lead and support a team of 22 staff across four subdivisions (rooms, areas, pools, and 42 club cars)24/7 maintenance cover, balancing operational efficiency with effective budget management, sustainability practices, and specialist contractor oversight. This world-class property spans 1 km and includes: • 319 rooms • 10 private villas • 7 restaurants • 30 swimming pools • A spa, theatre, kids’ club, gym, sports facilities, and 24/7 on-site medical care. I am currently assisting the Chief Engineer and Project Manager in Phase 2 of construction, focusing on the design and commissioning of MEP systems for: • 90 additional rooms • 5 private villas with pools • 2 new restaurants • 2 public pools Key Achievements In London, I thrived in high-pressure environments, leading: • New property openings and refurbishments, establishing robust operational procedures. • Implemented H&S/maintenance platform for logging day 2-day maintenance job and record-keeping. • Mobilize new supply chain to site-specific, up to 100k service packages. • Identifying building and MEP defects/snagging under the warranty period and recovering unnecessary costs. • High-performing maintenance teams and their development and training. This includes the recruitment of top-tier engineers. • CAPEX projects exceeding £150k, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery without compromising quality and disruption to the business. • The implementation of energy-saving initiatives, driving operational efficiency and sustainability. I also managed departmental budgets and long-term financial planning while adhering to strict health and safety compliance and minimizing business risk. Additionally, I introduced solid PPM schedules to maintain operational excellence in alignment with legal standards. Current goals: Now working in a new cultural and professional environment in Spain, I am further expanding my skills by embracing the Spanish language and integrating myself with local practices. My leadership combines technical expertise, sustainability, and a hands-on approach to ensure top-tier facilities management.
