ABOUT SHWETHA GOPALAKRISHNA
I’m a Software Development Manager with 16+ years of experience, including 15 at IBM, where I manage engineering products in IBM Labs. Over the years, I’ve built and scaled high-performing teams from scratch, driving alignment between engineering execution, product strategy, and end-to-end delivery. I’m passionate about innovation at scale — leading lab-level projects with Agentic AI platforms and mentoring young talent to explore AI-driven possibilities. Recognized as an IBM Master Inventor with 14 filed patents , 40 publications, and a certified Design Thinking Coach (NPS 99%), I bring together innovation, technical leadership, and people growth. Outside my core role, I enjoy shaping narratives through blogs, serving as a judge at hackathons, and leading innovation coaching sessions for 150+ participants — helping future leaders think boldly, experiment fearlessly, and create meaningful impact.
