A leader in the food industry demonstrated by more than 25 years experience in the fresh and processed meats. Expertise in the areas of food safety and quality assurance, as well as operations management. While focused expertise in critical to food safety and quality attributes, the team has helped lead the OSI Group, one of the nations top manufacturing companies, to a new level in food safety and operational excellence. From Global Food Safety Initiatives (GFSI), to best practices such as “5 S” and “Lean Manufacturing”, we have helped develop a new food safety culture by improving the company’s performance in key areas. Recently, we have dedicated resources for monitoring raw material supply by reviewing the performance of raw material suppliers – through this OSI is better able to identify top-tier (and bottom-tier) performers. Also, my experience has also led me to serve as a liaison between federal regulatory authorities and the establishments in Food Safety Assessments and help respond to ever-changing regulatory notices. I collaborate with industry leaders to address the evolutionary changes in federal regulations.
