My role falls somewhere between the engineering world and the marketing world, which is a fun and often chaotic place to be. I support the building services and power delivery teams at Kimley-Horn, a national engineering consulting firm, helping them win meaningful work and strengthen client relationships. That can look like telling compelling stories, designing client outreach materials and events, building winning proposals, or uncovering new opportunities.My background is in graphic design and multimedia communications, and I spent my first 14 years at Kimley-Horn doing just that before moving into a marketing specialist role. After 18 years with the firm, that foundation has made me a better storyteller and translator of complex technical concepts into things clients can actually connect with.One of the parts of my work I care most about is the people side — collaborating on complex projects, sharing what I\'ve learned (right and wrong), and helping others grow in their careers.
