Roles an ResponsibilitiesSAS Administrator will work to implement SAS 9.4 Grid Infrastructure for the MUFG Bank. The SAS Administrator will be required to carry out the following activities, in addition to other duties as assigned• Performing SAS administration activities at the sole direction of the banks ISA SAS Systems Manager.• Checking the status and operations of SAS servers, including starting, stopping, and/or pausing the servers used in the SAS system.• Managing SAS metadata repositories for each application groups.• Performing and scheduling regular backups of the Metadata Server and physical files.• Monitoring, logging, and/or troubleshooting SAS servers, including using system logs or setting logging options as well as options within SAS Management Console (SMC).• Troubleshooting SAS server issues, such as system access and password problems.• Creating and maintaining SAS installation directory structures, where to find things related to servers, configurations, content, etc. • Administering the scheduling of jobs and reports.• Using SAS Management Console (SMC) to administer SAS metadata.• Administering SAS Viya cloud environment.• Creating, modifying, and maintaining various folder structures within SMC.• Managing the performance of the SAS Grid using SAS/Grid Manager.• Performing other general consulting services which may not be described in this SOW but are related to administering the bank’s SAS environment, as directed by the bank\' s SAS Systems Manager.
