   Direct all aspects of recreation programming, marketing, communications, and community outreach for a district serving a diverse population. Manage a $1.4M+ operating budget, including staffing, programs, and event expenses. Oversee the development, promotion, and execution of a wide range of inclusive recreation programs, special events, and senior services. Lead all marketing efforts, including social media strategy, graphic design, and website content updates. Successfully transitioned registration and scheduling systems from BlueRec to DaySmart Recreation, increasing efficiency and user satisfaction. Manage and support one full-time Athletics Coordinator and five part-time program coordinators. Secure sponsorships across youth programs, special events, and senior offerings, including sponsorship for fencing on the district’s main ball diamond. Launched and expanded new programming such as tumbling, cheerleading, French language classes, quilting, writing workshops, and pickleball clinics and leagues. Introduced and grew the Rock the Field event in partnership with the Washington Chamber of Commerce. Created the Light Up Washington Park and Hot Cocoa & Cookies event, establishing a new and well-loved holiday tradition. Organized and grew Glo Bingo into a signature fundraising event, generating over in revenue over three years. Launched inaugural pickleball leagues with 24 teams across three divisions. Designed and coordinated two high-quality seasonal brochures annually, improving layout, clarity, and public response. Collaborated with Five Points and other community organizations to enhance senior and intergenerational program offerings. Produced clear and effective communications to support registration and participation across all program areas. Supported the Early Childhood team in reimagining preschool programming after staff transitions. Consistently improved social media presence through strategic, timely, and engaging content.
