My most recent positions did not have construction-industry grade project management systems in place when I joined, so I built systems of project controls from scratch for my projects. My systems were later adopted as the company standards. This expertise comes from being \"classically trained\" in the practices of the Construction Management Association of America early in my EXPERIENCEExtensive experience on Cost Plus/GMP projects rising through the ranks from a Project Engineer to a Program Manager/Senior Project manager/Owner’s representative and General Contractor during pre-construction and construction phases.Managed $100M+ construction projects across commercial, pharmaceutical and educational sectors, including the following major projects:1. Project manager for multiple capital improvement projects for the New York Schools construction Authority in Brooklyn, construction of a new 5-story educational facility (PS 133) and complete conversion fitout of an existing 6-story from a convent to an educational facility (PS Program manager in charge of multiple simultaneous capital programs for Ingredion Incorporated in New Jersey, including creation from scratch of project manuals and engaging engineering teams to design to those specifications. Duties included formulation of a plan for a campus-wide renovation and liaising with different stakeholders for multiple small capital projects around the campus and in various laboratories.3. Project manager/owner\'s representative, responsible for field activities for the $50M+ fitout construction of offices and executive briefing centers on multiple floors at Salesforce Tower in Manhattan.4. Owner representation on Wall Street $100 million building repositioning project. Responsibilities included buyout of General Contractor scope of work, reviewing progress reports and reporting to Lenders as and broaden management responsibility and experience by expanding on experience gained in the Construction industry and utilizing the varied skills acquired in different professional fields.Member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).
