Academically trained as Theoretical Physicist with research experience at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and at CERN, coauthored 11 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, 7 proceedings of conferences and a contribution to a book. Received her PhD degree in Theoretical High-Energy Physics from Università del Salento (Mar. 2008-Sept 2011), and awarded a European Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher Fellowship by the Initial Training Network UniLHC to spend the 3rd year of the PhD program at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (Sept 2010 - July 2011).
