ABOUT RYAN KEENEY

I am a change agent for transforming our communities into affordable, vibrant, and sustainable human habitats. At AECOM, I help public agencies plan, prioritize, and deliver multimodal infrastructure by transforming complex spatial data into actionable insights. My work supports corridor planning, alternatives analysis, and strategic decision-making across projects ranging from BRT to high-speed rail.I am also co-founder and former President of YIMBY Denver, a grassroots nonprofit advancing pro-housing policy reform. We advocate for zoning and land use changes that respond to Colorado’s intertwined housing and climate crises by bringing community voices, technical expertise, and coalition-building to the table. My academic background bridges geography, history, and urban systems. My master’s research on the legacy of Denver’s streetcar network was featured at the History Colorado Center and in local media.
