WORK HISTORY
Mass Communications Senior Enlisted Advisor @United States Army Reserve
Londonderry, NH, US
Why I love this job? I get to meet people, see cool stuff they do, tell their story, and capture moments in history. See my previous \"positions\" as part of the U.S. Army Reserve for a better picture, but so far, I\'ve: covered and produced print and broadcast material for Operation Atlantic Resolve to share the stories of multi-national NATO forces, and important events; as a result, helped our unit produce more than 20% of all of the products for OAR (out of 10 different units) created a promotional video for the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Research Development and Engineering Center\'s Human Sciences Engineering Branch, attracting a stark increase in interest and viewership; praised by MA Governor Charlie Baker and other VIPs co-managing unit social media to bolster reach AND maintaining thousands of views and audience engagement; leveraged social media to feature one of my own photos on ABC News trained in both print and broadcast skill sets to be able to leverage skills and train, mentor, and support both main functions of the unit. plus I love being able to take photos along with video supported the unit with myriad administrative, training, and other tasks to maintain operational temp and unit readiness secret-level security clearance

ABOUT RAY BOYINGTON
Recently an IT manager with more than 17 years of combined experience with virtualization, cloud, system administration, networking, technical support, and help desk. My largest strengths stem from my desire to helping you: whether it be troubleshooting software or maintaining a server to keep your tech working for you instead of the other way around.I am also a U.S. Army service member with more than 22 years of military experience in the public affairs, combat arms, and medical branches. I use this experience in a multitude of ways, from spearheading efforts, tactical planning, risk assessment, and leadership to applying technical and visual design, principle, and client relations. How does this help? I\'m a leader who can think from multiple fronts. I understand what management needs and can see things from the ground as well as a larger scope and perspective. I can also manage and mentor as needed.I have an independent and hands-on mindset with a passion for new technologies and ability to act as soon as boots are on the ground. I do not like to sit around and do nothing.I love the great outdoors and love a good challenge. Hiking is a great way to escape. Photography is a passion. Love traveling to different places. Food is always an experience. Rounds downrange is always fun.Reach out if you have any questions! Thanks for looking!TOP SKILLS• VMware ESXi 5.x, 6.x• Citrix XenApp 6.x, 7.x• Microsoft Exchange 2016/2013/2010/2007• Microsoft Azure / O365• Microsoft Windows OS 2016/2012/2008/2003/10/8/7/XP/98/95/3.1• Active Directory and Group Policy• backups - Axcient, Datto, Veeam, BUE, eVault, more• routers and switches - Cisco, Meraki, Brocade, more• firewalls - Cisco, Sonicwall, Fortinet, more• Apple MacOS 10.x (OSX)• server, laptop, desktop hardware• malware and ransomware mitigation• disaster recovery• network troubleshooting • remote support• client relations • business intelligence• information operations• strategic messaging• operations
