ABOUT RADOUAN J.

Since September 2024, I have been working as a cybersecurity consultant on a wide range of assignments: security audits, risk assessments (EBIOS RM), ISO 27001 compliance support, and cyber crisis management with hands-on involvement in reconstruction efforts (PMO / project lead). I’m also active in cybersecurity awareness initiatives, designing e-learning modules in SCORM format (in French), and leading live training sessions, especially for international English-speaking audiences. I support clients in managing strategic cybersecurity RFPs, particularly for selecting Security Operations Centers (SOC), an ecosystem I know thoroughly (managed services, monitoring, threat detection, incident response, SIEM, etc.). From 2021 to 2024, I worked as a cybersecurity engineer, handling a variety of responsibilities: patch management, contributing to security policy (PSSI) documentation, and evaluating and deploying advanced security solutions (EDR, bastions, MFA…). In 2022, I was directly involved in the detection and qualification of a major cyberattack and led crisis response efforts by identifying critical vulnerabilities in business applications. Security awareness has been a key focus of my work, including the creation of cyberattack demonstration labs and regular internal communications to promote best practices across teams. In 2020–2021, I served as a project manager for Caen la mer, where I oversaw the implementation of a monitoring solution for over 800 devices, deployed vulnerability scanning probes, and automated security audits using OpenVAS. From 2018 to 2020, I held the position of network and telecom technician in the same organization, with key responsibilities such as configuring Cisco switches and routers, managing WiFi access points, setting up VPNs with Pfsense, and configuring OXE communication systems.
