Hi, I’m Pilar Zárate — a Latina founder, community builder, and believer in tech for good.I’ve spent the last 10+ years working at the intersection of innovation, social impact, and emotional well-being. I co-founded Bonda to help teams build stronger relationships at work, blending AI, positive psychology, and values-based leadership to create cultures where people truly belong.Before moving to the U.S, I co-led a nonprofit in Colombia focused on peacebuilding through empathy, dialogue, and play. That experience, shaped by the realities of armed conflict, taught me the power of connection and the urgency of systems change.Today, I serve as Head of Community and Marketing at LaFamilia Foundation, where I support Latine founders, VCs, and angel investors building a more inclusive startup ecosystem. I’ve also been part of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers, where I spoke at the Annual Meeting of the New Champions on the future of work and the care economy.Trained at MIT in New Ventures Leadership, I bring both strategy and soul to every room I enter.
