ABOUT PHILIP DAVIS
To me company is family. That\'s the way I\'ve always felt. I have been fortunate due to acquisitions to work for several great companies while sitting in the same office. My focus has always been,\"What can I do to help make us better\"? 1997 - York International purchased PACE Co. as it was known then and I joined a global IT support team not only supporting our local plant but several other plants across North America. PCs, servers, hardware, software, printers, phones and network support became my world and it was fun. 2001 - The local plant was closed and I coordinated the relocation of the local engineering team to a new facility. I relocated us two more times in the next 4 years. 2005 - Johnson Control acquired York International and I joined an even bigger IT team. I supported one local and seven remote offices along with a remote plant. Travelling from site to site supporting PCs, servers, hardware, software, printers, phones and network was challenging and exciting. Working with the corporate IT team was rewarding. 2014 - My division in Johnson Control went through a reorganization which eliminated my position. All at once I was no longer part of that family. 2016 - An opportunity has come up and I am back with the IT team at Johnson Control.
