An accomplished senior technology leader with a history of performance in the financial services industry supporting sales, trading, risk management, settlement of foreign exchange, commodities, interest rate and equity derivatives. Proven track record of increasing efficiency and profitability by using technology, process improvement and cost management. Demonstrated skills in identifying risks and recommending creative solutions to insulate business from risk exposure. Proven ability to manage project execution and maintain positive internal and external relationships. Completed 2-year expatriate assignment in Europe and ACCOMPLISHMENTS- Successfully completed the merger of the Swap Dealer for Suntrust Bank and BB & T into Truist Bank, the largest US bank merger since 2008- Defined and implemented a comprehensive 3-year roadmap supporting future FX and Interest Rate Derivatives growth- Restructured and implemented a globally distributed technology organization to support a global foreign exchange and international cash management business- Planned and successfully managed annual technology budgets of $14MM to within 1% of forecast- Saved $3MM over 4 years through the development of an offshore QA program, the result was automated test scripts within 16 months across 10 FX applications- Saved $4MM over 4 years through the creation of an offshore production support team. This aligned with a 24 hour FX business and addressed over 98% of all issues.
