In this role, I am defining the enterprise analytics strategy, building the reporting and analytics across multiple value dimensions to serve the strategic needs of the company, and delivering the insights needed to steer the business and transformation.• Enterprise Analytics Strategy: Defining and creating an enterprise analytics strategy to cater to the strategic needs of the organization.• Building Reporting & Analytics: Leading a team that will build the dashboards needed for steering, deliver the analytics needed for decision making and generate “always on” insights to stakeholders. Also identifying business focus areas for analytics and use relevant tools, statistical and AI models, data modelling, and business knowledge to create and deliver. • Generating Insights: Generating actionable business insights from the reporting and analytics. By placing the business needs at the centre, delivering timely insights that help to make fast decisions, drive the business, enable growth and fulfil Decathlon strategies and transformations. Working closely with other finance teams, CEO office and functional teams to have cohesion across all value dimensions. Also effectively communicating complex analytical findings and insights in a simple manner to business stakeholders.• Enabling Operational Analytics: Working closely with the data team and countries to ensure cohesion between the operational analytics and the enterprise analytics. Establishing ways of working with stakeholders that will enable operational insights to be integrated with strategic insights for decision-making.• Building Capabilities: Building a strong motivated team with analytical capabilities for the organization including predictive analytics, scenario modelling and ability to blend external market data with internal analytics. Developing strong talent with both analytical and business mind-set.• Data Literacy: Promoting and evangelizing data literacy in the organization.
