Currently serving as Team Leader for the EU Climate Change Adaptation Grant Programme (CCAGP) project in collaboration with Hacettepe University, known as the RESILIENCE ACTION ACADEMY (REMEDY). • Formerly worked as a design manager on the construction site of the Yapı Merkezi Makutupora-Itigi-Tabora Railway Project in Tanzania. • Formerly worked as a senior researcher at Hacettepe University in the field of circular economy and end-of-life building materials relevant to the EU HORIZON2020 project. • Formerly worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Middle East Technical University on a national earthquake risk reduction project. • Formerly worked as a chief design engineer at the Yapı Merkezi Awash-Kombolcha-Hara Gebeya Railway Project construction site in Ethiopia. • Previously worked as design coordinator and project manager on various renewable energy and urban/residential water infrastructure projects. • Management experience in construction and supervision stages since 2007. • Interdisciplinary engineering design experience since 2002. • Geotechnical engineer for landslide modelling (Ph.D.). • GIS and remote sensing expert on hydrology and erosion modelling (M.Sc.). • Senior civil engineer for hydraulic structures, dams, and hydropower plants (B.Sc.).
