Designated Company Security Officer for all brands under Royal Caribbean Group (55+ ships) •Head and direct all security related company and regulatory compliance requirements (ISPS, CVSSA, STCW, MTSA, MARAD, SOLAS) • Head and direct all aspect of the operation for three 24/7 core teams - Security operations, Investigations and the CareTeam • Responsible for the development and execution of logistical and emotional support to guest and crew during traumatic events. • Establish and Manage the department O&T, goals, strategic vision and planning, Innovation and continuous improvement • Liaise with the various Flag Stats, Law Enforcement Agencies and PFSO’s on security related matters • RCG representative in the CLIA Security Committee meetings • External/Internal audits and inspections - coordination, follow up and implementation of corrective actions (DNV, Lloyds, Port State, Internal Audits) • Manage high level Capital projects to ensure completion as planned and within budget • Identify and implement efficiencies and cost savings opportunities to ensure continuance improvement • Development of Ship Security Plans and Ship Security Assessments • Incident response investigation and follow up on security breaches and access control related incidents • Budget Planning and Management • New Build – Planning, development and deployment of all security related items. • System Quality Management system - policies, procedures and onboard SOPs. • Security related drills and exercises • Liaise with other departments and leaders in the company on security related concerns/challenges • Heading the recruitment program for the onboard security department. • Management and development of the onboard security training program and certification requirements • Onboard succession plan. • Head and direct all security technology systems, screening equipment, CCTV systems, shipboard locking plans - general support, maintenance, testing, purchasing and communication with vendors
