ABOUT ANDREW COOKE

At Map of Ag we focus on how connected agricultural data, permissioned from farms and tools, can deliver value and sustainable outcomes for farmers and value chains.In my role I help agrifood, agritech, finance, and agribusiness companies envisage, design, and undertake digital and data projects and create digitally-enhanced products and services.I have many years of experience in agricultural technology - from agricultural science and biological models, through technology architectures and software development, design thinking, and business analysis. Because of - or perhaps despite this, I\'m relentlessly curious to understand how ag-sector businesses are using technology, and the opportunities to use data and tech to improve the reach and profitability of those businesses.I co-founded and led Rezare Systems, culminating in its acquisition by Map of Ag, and integration of our technology, consulting, and data science teams.I lead a number of data standardisation and integration efforts internationally, because I believe that organisations that make effective use of agricultural data - for themselves and in their value chains - will out perform those who rely on doing things the same way they always have.
