ABOUT NINA MALONEY
I am a second year student at Villanova University, planning to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering, with an Honors minor in Mathematics. Post undergraduate education, I would like to work towards a master\'s and eventually a doctorate degree in my field, hopefully performing significant research and acquiring a job in the food and beverage industry. I attended a Chemical Engineering summer program at Manhattan College during the summer of 2023, in which I solidified my intent to pursue this degree. Last semester, I took a Material Balances course, in which I learned the basics of all that chemical engineering entails, along with other courses such as Calculus Chemistry, and Physics. I have already completed an Honors engineering course where I, along with three team members, designed a wellness space for our engineering building; during the process we came up with accurate size and cost estimates, as well as survey results from our peers in undergrad and graduate school.
