We are ingesting data from on premises database to our data lake (AWS s3) using glue or DMS and also, we are receiving flat files of various formats directly from the vendors and we load it our data lake. We processed the data from one layer to delta lake layer. From delta lake we read the tables to create the reports and load it to snowflake for downstream consumption of data. We store our metadata in DynamoDB, we use EMR to create the cluster and process the data.
