ABOUT NEIL CARRINGTON
Neil is the founder of two science education outreach companies - Science Zone UK and Code Ninjas Bournemouth.With the Science Zone UK company he operates a science outreach to the public using two shop fronts in Boscombe, Bournemouth. Neil has been amazed at the interest and take-up of science outreach and so took the risk in 2015 to open a new mini science activity centre in Bournemouth called the Science Zone. In the first year of operation we now have daily science workshops with school groups, preschoolers, after-school clubs and parent/child groups. These workshops range from Gooey Science to Viscous Volcanoes! Have a look at our large Facebook site \"Science Zone UK\". With a large basement we are able to offer an interactive fossil museum and sensory area for all ages- including a digital planetarium and immersive mini theatre for dinosaur films! Neil is a committed Christian and loves to present the RS show using the our fixed planetarium in the Science Zone STEM centre, sharing his awe at the wonder of God’s creation. Neil is based in BournemouthScience Zone UK is also the location of a new coding zone called Code Ninjas Bournemouth - a Studio version of a US company STEM outreach on coding and robotics.
