In 2015, I was instrumental in ESTA being recognised as an Accredited Centre of Excellence by the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (Salt Lake City, UT, USA).In April 2016, I was appointed to the Medical Council of Standards by the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch. In December 2016, I moved back to New Zealand to provide care for my elderly mother. In January 2017, I commenced work as a Communicator with the NZ Fire Service (now Fire and Emergency NZ) and in October 2018 was appointed as Operations Manager in the Northern Communications Centre in Auckland.
