ABOUT MORTEN PEDERSEN TONNESEN

Morten is an experienced senior executive with a track record of delivering results across a number of sectors, including gambling and technology companies. He has joined Xtremepush as Chief Growth Officer bringing 15 years of experience to the CRM and Loyalty software provider. Before he was at Shape Games as Chief Commercial Officer and Board Member, bringing more than a decade of industry experience to the innovative B2B platform provider. Shape Games was aquired by Kambi in 2022.Morten founded and successfully exited sportsbetting operator BetWarrior.Morten was previously the CEO of Ve Global Ltd, a marketing technology company, as well as being Senior Partner at Aston Ventures Ltd, a private VE company investing in technology companies. Before joining Aston Ventures in January 2017, Morten worked six years at PokerStars as Group Marketing Director with a global responsibility across poker, sports and casino with a team of 450 people, spending a combined marketing budget of more than $150M across all channels of marketing. Morten has driven major parts of PokerStars’ transformation from desktop and poker only to mobile and multi vertical via a data-driven acquisition and engagement approach.Prior to PokerStars, Morten spent 13 years in management consulting with major companies like PwC Consulting, IBM Business Consulting Service, and PA Consulting Group, leading strategy and business transformation focusing on big data and marketing.Morten is a graduate from Copenhagen Business School (BA and MSc.), Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (Part of MSc.), and has completed leadership training at Cranfield School of Management in London.
