Helps develop the preliminary system architecture plan and implementation strategy of system enhancements-Acts as highest level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms-Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects-Performs upgrades, installations, project planning and scheduling of project activities in coordination with system users, vendors, coordinating projects, and Information Technology personnel-Devises or modifies procedures, policy/procedural to solve complex issues; coordinate and ensure development with feeder department and end users-Maintains internal controls that will safeguard access to system generated data and protect confidentiality of patient, employee, and all proprietary information-Coordinates plans and identifies issues with vendors and users of the application prior to implementation in a production environment-Facilitates large scale system conversion with multiple project environments-Ability to delineate between strategic, tactical and operational deliverables
